Michael,
It was cool Christmas evening here but yesterday seemed a fine mild to warm day. What we require now as soon as possible is moisture return which is anticipated to occur. There should be a few days of storm chasing opportunities in the coming week - we’ll see how it pans out!

Mid level cloud band is still persisting this morning - that’s now about 40 hours or so with altostratus. Fairly unusual for this part of the world. And quite cold too with only 21 Boxing Day !
