Yes the cloud band persisting is interesting. What is more interesting will be the injection of moisture over the next few days beginning from today. I guess it is modest today but at least there is a possibility of some storms venbturing gradually into Sydney tomorrow.

Hi Jimmy - amazingly the cloud band is still over us - almost three full days now. It should clear later today which will be nice as the past two days have been just 21 degrees - way below normal for this time of year.
