Michael, I have been off for a little while trying to get rid of trojan acttivity:) It seems to have been squashed for a bit. It took my mind off the storms that have been hammering different parts of eastern NSW.
Glad you have finally (touch wood) fixed the tyre problem. Just in readiness for the [...]

Got the tyres fixed, both driver’s side ones replaced - both had the same defect as the one I had replaced 2 weeks ago. Fortunately covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Beaurepairs reckoned it is uncommon for them to have these faults, and for 3 of them with the same problem is unheard of. Might have [...]

Hi Jimmy - got a Northern Tablelands chase in yesterday. Was quite a lot of low topped convection with little lightning. Upper atmosphere warmed a bit too much from Saturday. Was a great day out, love the long drives and met up with Rodney and Serc who were returning home from 6 days chasing. But [...]

Michael,
Tense situations are a part of our job:) Had to separate a tussle today. Year 7’s each year getting more out of line and fearless.
Hope you do get some storms. We have had quite a few here but I have hardly bothered chasing them. Have to be there for these type of storms rather than [...]

Hi Jimmy - must have been quite a tense situation. Alison often mentions dramas at her school though that is just primary aged kids !
Weather continues in its boring rut here. Light easterly winds. Fog in the morning, large cumulus about with isolated showers but mainly dry days. Quite pleasant temps though. Reasonable indications for [...]

Michael,
I guess with boring weather, you have to keep yourself pre-occupied with other items. Which in my opinion is a good thing. When the weather really turns on, you will then be fresh and ready with few commitments:)
I saw anvils out to the west today - one was decent I guess. I didn’t bother going [...]

At least you won’t be up for another big car repair bill. Very offputting having car problems.
Today I did some work on the weather timelapse section that I’ll finish off soon. Have changed the way it will be presented as it was too much work. Also did some excavation for a couple of posts to [...]

Michael,
Looks like you had a varied weekend. Mine began well but threatened to end badly with my car breaking down for a 2nd time - this means I have had 3 tows in 2 months. Turns out all it was a hose cracked. I can’t believe that the NRMA person did not check that and [...]

Hi Jimmy, On Saturday did some excavation work for some more pavers I’m putting in the pool area. Rodney was over later and he watched me dig while using his laptop lounging on the deck lol - actually, he did move the barrows of debris. We had a nice bbq dinner later.
Sunday our family and [...]

Michael,
Looks like David is going to be a star swimmer! I reckon my ability to swim detiorates the less I have access to swimming.
Some anvils spreading across from the horizon. Warning out but I personally doubt the potential is that great for organisation. Yes there is some lightning around - perhaps some nighttime lightning opportunities [...]
