The trip sounds great - I wished I was there. You should post a picture or two.
I like trips exploring regions one normally cannot get to. And this is especially the case when it comes to regions that have storms. Lightning rods - now that suggests something!

Hi Jimmy - yes the first cooler change arrived here on Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday quite cool with drizzle patches. Back to warm and sunny today.
